### In short:
An AI agent can now discover that Algolia supports agent-driven signup, create an Algolia account and application from the command line, and manage that application's name, plan, and API keys afterward – with a human approving account ownership, billing, and the terms of service along the way.

### Where agents used to get stuck
Until now, an agent trying to act on Algolia's behalf had one option if the account didn't exist: send the human to a browser-based signup form. There was no way to create an account from the CLI.

### Teaching the CLI to sign up
We expanded the CLI to handle account and application creation directly. Here’s how it works:
```bash
$ algolia auth signup # creates an account, and an application too if you don't have one yet
$ algolia auth login # existing account — same behavior if you have no applications
$ algolia application create --name <name> --region <EU|UK|USC|USE|USW> --plan <free|grow|grow-plus> --accept-terms # for additional applications later
```
### No more silent timeouts
We are adding a non-interactive guard for CLI commands to fail fast instead of hanging.

### Managing the whole lifecycle
An agent that can create an application also needs a way to manage it afterward:
```bash
$ algolia application update --name new-name
$ algolia application upgrade --plan grow-plus
$ algolia application plans
$ algolia apikeys rotate
$ algolia deeplink --purpose billing
```

### The discovery blind spot
Agents often miss the new signup options based on how web traffic is evolving. A growing share now comes from large language models (LLMs) trying to complete tasks.

### Closing the gap: skills, prompts, and this post
We are shipping an `algolia-quickstart` skill to assist agents with account and application provisioning.

### This is what your agent can do now
To summarize, here's what an agent can do now:
- Discover agentic signup exists and complete it.
- Load the `algolia-quickstart` skill for step-by-step instructions.
- Manage an application's lifecycle entirely from the terminal.
- Get registration instructions from the dashboard's pages for agents that land there.
